Very handy way to read the newspaper offline?
Any plans on extending subscription to magazines?

    Thanks

Yes, we continually look for new publications to add to PressDisplay.com, including magazines. Publishers of magazines haven’t been as open to being part of an aggregated portal, but we’re hopeful this will change soon.

The Mac version of PressReader won’t work on my Mac (Leopard OS). A while ago I wrote to Support and they said it was in Beta and there were still bugs to be fixed. Could you please tell me when you expect the Mac version to be ready.

    Thanks,

    Michael

Am I to understand that, if I subscribe to the online version of TLS, for example, I will have to pay PressReader for the right to read the TLS offline?

    Hi Jean
Thanks for the question. PressReader is free to all subscribers on PressDisplay.com. So if you’ve paid for the online publication, you can download the offline version as well.

When will the iphone/itouch version finally be relased? It was announced to be released soon a month ago. Also, any plans to make a version for the new treo pre that uses the new “Web OS”? I have an itouch now and will be getting a treo pre as soon as it is released.

I was struggling with authorising a new iPad. Because there is a limit to three machines, I realised I needed to deauthorised (deauthorize) previous iPads as I kept getting an error message. I did this by going to pressdisplay.com, going to My Services / My account / Press reader and doing the necessary here.

Please advise people about how to deauthorise. There are enough of us out there who are on to our third iPad, iPhone or IpodTouch now.

    Many thanks. John

Hi John. Thanks for posting the tip!

Indeed, if you would like to manage which devices are currently authorized under your account, all you need to do is:

      1. Log into http://www.pressdisplay.com
      2. Click on “My Services”
      3. Click on “My Account”
      4. Click on “PressReader”

Once you’re there, you’re free to view which devices you’ve got going and which you would like to de-authorize.

      Cheers,
      Michael
