Held January 7-10 in sunny Las Vegas, Nevada, the 2010 International CES saw NewspaperDirect kick off the New Year in style. Although not an official exhibitor at the event, our own Director of Strategic Development, Igor Smirnoff, was one of the 200,000 individuals in attendance taking in the sights, sounds and latest tech market offerings as well as getting a glimpse into some of the goodies that really aren’t all that far off (3D TV? Sign me up!).
More importantly, Igor’s attendance hinged around key partnership announcements made by Sony, Amazon and Google. With these new partnerships, NewspaperDirect’s unprecedented list of 1,400+ full content digital publications, made available through PressDisplay.com, are now available to Sony Reader, Kindle, and Google Android mobile OS smartphone users!
Not a bad week by any stretch of the imagination.
And what’s even better? You can expect to hear similar announcements over the course of 2010 as NewspaperDirect continues to push platform boundaries!

You still mention the 1,400 titles available through your service and new devices coming out but the blog has made no mention I can see about the new terms of service changes and how that is going to affect things. I am right in understanding that I can only now get 100 papers a month? What does that mean? I subscribe to three daily papers that is 90 papers a month. If I want to read them on 3 devices (1 other PC and my ipod), that is 270 papers. Does that mean I have violated the names terms of service? I hope not. Even subscribing to one paper on 3 devices is going to get you 90 papers. That in no way can called “unlimited.” And here I was waiting to get the Apple tablet so I can read more! Please tell me my understanding is wrong because I expect to be able to at least read 5-7 newspapers a day on several devices.

You’ll be happy to know that you would not be violating the Terms of Use
. Once a single issue has been purchased, you are able to view that issue on multiple devices whether it’s your PC, laptop, iPhone, etc. If you’re subscribing to 3 daily newspapers and viewing those editions on multiple devices, you would still be under 100 issues monthly.
