PressReader Tip: Authorize your PressDisplay.com account on your iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad

With the release of PressReader version 1.3.1 for the iPhone & iPod Touch this past February (we’re currently up to version 1.6 which is also optimized for the iPad), the process required to authorize existing PressDisplay.com accounts on iPhones, iPod Touch and iPad was made considerably easier.

Simply, authorizing your devices ensures you’ll have full access to your favorite titles without having to pay for them twice – and that’s exactly the way it should be!

For those of you who haven’t yet got around to authorizing your device, we thought we’d take a quick second to outline the steps necessary to do so:

  1. Once PressReader has been downloaded and opened, select the Settings option (see A).
  2. Select the Authorize option (see B).
  3. Enter your PressDisplay.com account credentials (E-mail and Password) in the Registered User fields provided (see C).
  4. Click the Authorize button (see D).

Now all that’s left to do is sit back, relax and enjoy all the benefits of PressDisplay.com!  Remember that with any just 1 subscription, PressDisplay.com subscribers can access titles on 3 computers and 3 mobile devices.

Cheers,

-Michael

Could you please include a feature allowing a user to reset their password.

    Thanks

Thanks for your suggestion Oliver. I think that feature would be really useful directly from the PressReader app :) . I’ve forwarded your request to our R&D team.

Just as an FYI however, you can reset your password directly from PressDisplay.com. Just click on the following link, enter your email address and follow the instructions provided (don’t forget to check your junk mail folder for the email).

Is there a possibility to do the other way, i.e. allowing a pressreader subscriber to use that account to access Pressdisplay. Afterall, the subscription rate is the same…

      Hi Masa,

Absolutely – PressReader is the companion reading application to the PressDisplay.com service. Your username and password will work for both the online service and the application.

      Cheers,
      Michael
