Philippine Daily Inquirer promotes iPad PressReader App
With its growing availability around the world, more and more publishers are realizing the Apple iPad is more than just a trendy new platform readers can use to consume printed media. Rather, it’s quickly looking like it could be “the” device that helps shape the publishing industry as a whole moving forward.
Recently, the June 6, 2010 edition of the Philippine Daily Inquirer took the opportunity to inform readers of their own current digital push. By partnering with NewspaperDirect, the inquirer is now able to offer their readers full digital replicas of their publication on iPads across the world through the PressReader App and online through PressDisplay.com, both solutions offering significant advantages over traditional newsprint.
